Outdoor Graduation Ceremony
Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Salmon Arm Secondary hosts an annual outdoor Graduation Ceremony on our school’s property, overlooking beautiful Shuswap Lake. Graduates will be given an alphabetically determined scheduled time for their ceremony, between 10am and 4pm. Graduates then meet at McGuire Lake for photographs and end the evening with a Dry Grad Celebration organized by parents.

Graduation Fees
SAS Graduation Fees are $175 (due May 1st 2024).
Payment can be forwarded to the office or via an E-Transfer to sas@sd83.bc.ca. Families also have the option of a payment plan. For more information, please contact Lisa Martin (Head Secretary) in the office at (250) 832-2188.
These fees include:
- Graduation Ceremony & Festivities
- Tent rentals, decorations, sound & production
- Off-set the costs for grad events and activities ((Halloween movie night, snowball semi-winter formal, street painting, grad breakfast, grad-itude tour)
- Yearbook ($50 value)
- Grad Photo Individual Sitting Fee (16-18 poses – photos still need to be purchased)
- Grad Gown Rentals
- Keepsake Graduation Cap & Tassel, Grad Lanyards, Cup-to-Go & Graduation Composite Folder
- containing a photo of the entire grad class, along with a place to hold your high school dogwood diploma.
Important Notice: Grad fees DO NOT go toward the parent-organized “Dry Grad Celebration”.
