SAS welcomes all parents of students in grades 9 thru 12!

Parents and guardians are essential partners in K-12 public education. Engaging with your school’s Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) ensures your advocacy is recognized at school, district, and provincial levels.

A PAC typically:

Advises the school principal and staff on matters affecting students and the school community.
Encourages parent involvement in the school.
Organizes events, activities, and parent education opportunities.
Raises funds for school programs, equipment, field trips, playgrounds, and other student benefits.
Acts as a communication link between families and the school.
